The capital pool
The pool is the money seats are funded from. It earns exam fees and 20% of profits, and it carries the losses of seats that are cut.
Where its money comes from

Caps that protect it
- Per seat: a seat can lose at most its total line, 10%, marked at exit value.
- Per day: a seat can lose at most its daily line, 5%.
- All seats at once: the capital out on live seats is capped at a share of the pool, so a bad day across many seats cannot drain it.
No exit for anyone but the rules
There is no instruction that moves pool funds to an arbitrary address. Money leaves the pool only to fund a seat, and returns from a seat only through the split or when the seat closes.
Withdrawals
Pool withdrawals can never be paused by the operator. New exams can be paused; grading, splits and withdrawals cannot.
