The 80/20 split
The split is the only door out of a seat.
How it works
When a seat is in profit, you call the split. The program measures profit at exit value against the seat's starting balance and pays:
| Share | Goes to |
|---|---|
| 80% | Your wallet, in USDC |
| 20% | The capital pool |
The seat's starting balance stays in the seat (or returns to the pool if the seat is closed).
Example
| Item | Number |
|---|---|
| Seat balance | $10,000 |
| Exit value when you call the split | $11,000 |
| Profit | $1,000 |
| To you | $800 |
| To the pool | $200 |
Rules
- Nobody approves a split. If the numbers are there, it pays.
- Splits cannot be paused, not even by the operator.
- A seat that ends below its starting balance pays no split; the loss is the pool's, capped by the auto-cut.
