The seat wallet
A seat is a wallet funded from the pool that you can trade but cannot empty. The program holds it; you hold the right to trade it.
What a seat can do
- Open and close perpetual positions on Jupiter Perps, in the season's markets (SOL, ETH, BTC).
- Trade up to the seat's size cap.
What a seat cannot do
| Attempt | Result |
|---|---|
| Withdraw to your wallet | There is no withdraw path. |
| Send funds to any address | Refused. The program only signs for Jupiter Perps trades and the split. |
| Trade on another venue | Refused. Only the whitelisted program can be called. |
| Exceed the size cap | Refused before the trade is sent. |
| Keep trading past a loss line | The seat is already closed. |
How it is checked
The project's first engine gate is an adversarial test on a local copy of mainnet: a thief trader tries every way to move money out of a seat (withdrawals, unlisted programs, oversized trades, trading past the line, colluding wallets) and every attempt must fail. The seat ships only if that test passes.
Leaving a seat
A seat ends when it is cut, when you close it, or at the end of its term. Profit is paid out through the split. Whatever balance remains returns to the pool.
